Marilyn E. Kassarjian

Marilyn E. Kassarjian, 62, of Lapeer, passed away December 4, 2013 in the comforts of her home and with her family by her side. She was born in Detroit on July 1, 1951, daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Kipina. Marilyn was raised in Warren, MI where she met George, her loving husband of 43 years. Together they worked at each other's side at their upholstery business for nearly 40 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.

Marilyn is survived by husband George; daughter Kim (Rich) Labate; son Geoff Kassarjian; grandchildren Riley, Abbey, and Molly Labate; sisters Marge (Warren) Tack, Martha (Darell) Boytim, Arleen (Jerry) Boman; brother Mike (Jeanette) Kipina.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel with Pastor Paul Green officiating. Friends may visit 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will immediately follow at the American Legion Post #16 Lapeer. Memorial donations to the c/o George Kassarjian may be mailed to the funeral home and are greatly appreciated.
