Chris M. Gardner age 49 of Lapeer passed away December 16, 2010.  A devoted Eagle Scout in the Lapeer Area.   He was a loving husband to Denise for 20 years.  Beloved father to Cheyanne and Chad.  Dear brother of Alton Gardner and Barry (Kathy) Gardner.  Brother-in-law to Kenneth (Michelle) Diem and Linda (Michael) Durst.  Chris was a loved uncle and friend to many.  Preceded in death by his parents Orville and Patsy Gardner and daughter Heather Marie Gardner.  
Funeral service will take place Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446.  Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Pastor Kent Hoggatt will be officiating.  Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00-9:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the family are greatly appreciated.

My Dearest Denise, Our heart's go out to you and Cheyanne and Chad at this most difficult time of your life. It's never easy to loose a loved one. We don't understand why some things happen. I do believe things happen for a reason. You will be strong, the Lord will come through and be there for all of you. I also believe that Chris will be guiding you every step of the way.
